Poem-A-Day: Day 172

Sorry for my absence. The weather and photography has kept me busy the past two days. So today I'll be posting three poems throughout the day.

Says Her

She said she was proud of me,
exhaustingly so.
Though I'm used to only being exhausting
for being a pain in the ass.

I guess I'm not used to pride,
just busting my ass
to get somewhere other than here.
I'm glad someone noticed.
