Keeping it Together

Each day it gets harder
to think,
of the one thing
to keep it all together.
                         each day it gets harder
It’s the one thing
that keeps it all together,
but it’s hard to remember
                        each day it gets harder
that one thing.
Keeping it together
                        each day it gets harder
becomes a challenge
on a daily basis.
                           each day it gets harder
