Poem-A-Day: Day 415

It Doesn’t Have to Be
On one side, the other divided?
You are one.
I, the other.
Divided we live.
No, your decision to talk,
but no one to listen.
It doesn't,
it doesn't have to
be like that.

Heart inside, any other divided.
Someone to suffer
broken.
Left to change
is the way to be.
Can't rearrange.
It doesn't,

One against…

It doesn't have to,

one.

be like that.

What secret calling?
Divided against the strong.
Ammunition
is right,
is breakdown.
It doesn't,

One…

It doesn't have to,

against…

be like that.

against one…

one.

To be like that.
You, one side.
I, the other.
Divided.
